"MEDICARE IMPROVEMENTS FOR PATIENTS AND

PROVIDERS ACT" (HR 6331) 

Although the President vetoed the AOA-backed "Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act" (HR6331) earlier today, we are pleased to report that the U.S. House and Senate voted late today to override the veto. Login into the Members Only Section and click on the Medicare Tab.

CPO, CPOA, CPOT TESTING

Attention Paraoptometrics: The KOA will be offering the CPO, CPOA, and CPOT tests at the KOA's Fall Conference at the Embassy Suites.  The test will be given on Saturday, October 4th.  The KOA will also be offering a Test Review course on Friday, October 3rd at the Embassy (counts toward AOA credit).  Click here for the Test Registration form and click here for the Friday Review Registration form.
